Starting a New

Well i moved into my new apartment the other day, July 9th 2008.
it was a great experience, walking into a room thinking, "you
Know, this is where i live, and i am paying for this." though
When you walk in you don't expect the whole thing to fall apart
On you... the first thing that happened to my friend/roommate was
When going to the bathroom, the second he sat on the toilet, he
Felt the entire thing dip backwards... next thing he knew the toilet
Was leaking... next we noticed that one of the roof fans was kind of
dangling there. After that, when he showed me the bedroom (where
We are rocking the bunk bed hardcore!) The floor had a huge hole in it.
"And this is our awesome basement." matt pointed out. Besides all of that
I was told that matt (roommate) is going to bring saloon doors for our kitchen.
Which basically means we're going to have the GREATEST KITCHEN EVER!
Hmm... what else? O yea, we have like a 25ft hallway as you enter the
apartment. the whole thing is painted white, so it’s VERY dull.
Solution, matt thought of the idea of getting that chalk paint
stuff by crayola. that way we can paint the walls with it and once someone
enters the apartment they can tag up the wall all they want!! It’s going to
be freaking SWEET!haha i forgot to mention, i have no internet at
this apartment and my computer is set up on the floor with like
3 boxes under my monitor...hahah GHETTO! O don't forget the fact
that i have no food and the bathroom is a huge mess. or that some
of the locks on the windows are broken and this apartment is in
west philly. i have barely any furniture or personality in this place
over all its kind of a dump here... but i am sitting here
typing about all the things that are wrong with the apartment and the
things we're going to try and do to make it a better place but truth
be told, there is something this apartment has that my old house never had... and that is complete freedom.
